Basic Story

Gordon Krantz is a lone wanderer, surviving by moving from village to village as a storyteller and minstrel. He finds a dead postal worker's skeleton in the woods and co-opts his clothing to stay warm. With the bag of postage, he hits upon a scam of representing himself as a postal inspector of the "Restored United States," sent to establish post offices in each town and re-establish mail service. He is surprisingly embraced everywhere he travels because of people's thirst for community and communication... and hope. He unwittingly becomes a victim of his own scam and is reluctantly thrust into a leadership role in reuniting Oregon.

General Bethlehem leader of the Holnist army sees Gordon Krantz as a threat to the control he has over the people of the land. As long as he is alive there will be no Restored United States postal service.

Gordon “The Postman” Krantz must now lead his follower against General Bethlehem leader of the Holnist army. Can the Postman defeat Bethlehem, and more importantly can he deliver the mail on time?

Camping area

Even though this is a one day game camping will be allowed Friday, and Saturday night.

There will be no firing of paintball markers in the camp area. If you need to fire your marker please use the crono staging area.

Boundaries

The out of bounds will be marked with yellow/green/pink tape (Sorry we had to use what we could get at the time)

Base/HQ

Each team will have a Base/HQ.  This will be where you start, and also where you will res at.  Each Base/HQ will have a Ref/Tools/Crono.  Players may be asked to crono at this area by the base ref.

PAINTBALL MARKERS/MASK/PAINTBALLS/TANKS

All paintball guns will need to be chronographed less than 280 F.P.S.  All markers will be checked before game start Saturday, midday Saturday, and Sunday morning.  Once checked your player card will be punched, indicating you have been checked. Markers will be randomly checked though out the day.

Only semi mode will be allowed.

All players will need to have a BBD in there markers at all times while in the staging area/camping area.

Mask:  All masks must be full face, and may not be modified in any way.  Once of the field your mask can not come off for any reason, unless it is in a safe area at your base.

Paintballs:  This is a BYOP (Bring your Own Paint) even.  There are a few paintball that have been banned from Mt. Doom these are listed below.

Banned paintballs:

Monster Ball, Demon, Stryker, Freedom, Heavy Metal, Tactical Performance, JT Paintball and Reaction

Tanks:  No tanks allowed for this event.

REFEREES/ROLEPLAYERS

The ref will be the only people on the field wearing Orange/Yellow-black striped/White-black striped.  The referee calls are final.

Some Ref will also be playing the roles of people/characters needed for the game.  These “role-players” will be wearing a bright green shirt with the word ROLEPLAYER on the back of it.  Role-players are still refs.  If you spot a role-player on the field feel free to talk, and interact with them. Role-players will NOT have a marker and should not be shot at.

REF PUNCHES

On your player card you have 3 boxes.  If you do something wrong you get a punch, get 3 you get to go home early.  I am not going to go into great detail about this.  We are all capable of acting right.

We don’t want to have to remove anyone from the field, so let's all play nice.

Shooting hot (Any one of three shots 10 FPS over the limit)

Playing/Shooting from out of bounds

Intentionally overshooting another player

Removing your mask while on the field

“Faking” having your barrel condom on or “Faking” being dead

ELIMNATION/RESURACTIONS

You are eliminated if a paintball breaks on you, or your equipment, and the mark is bigger than the size of a nickel.  Once you are eliminated get out of the line of fire as fast as possible, put your barrel sock on, keep your gun raised, and head back to your res point.

If a Ref/Judge calls you out.  This could be for several reasons (Snipers/special weapons/etc.)

Players will be allowed back into the game ever 5 minutes, with a 1 minute window.  The base ref will let their side know when it is ok to head back in.  This could depend on the size of players that show up.

COMPLETING MISSIONS

There will also be daylong missions consisting of delivering the mail. For every letter delivered to the correct town (Number on the map) the Restored United States postal service will receive two points. The Holnist army will receive one point for every letter taken back to their base.  Letters must be carried, and cannot be hidden, if shot you must drop the letters.  You can carry as many letters as you can fit comfortably in your hand.  There will be an orange flag at each "Town" and boxes simply place the letters in the box if you are on the postman's side.  Bring all lets found on the field to green base if on the Holnist army side. Mail bags with letters will be dropped off at blue base.

The towns with mailboxes are 10, 13, 16, 17, and 18.

Props:  Bringing back a prop is worth a set amount of points.

Blue teams props will be wrapped in blue tape.

Green teams props will be wrapped in green tape.

Props that can be picked up by either team will not have any tape on them.

Props are to be stored inside the base once inside.  Once inside props cannot be taken by the other team. Props cannot leave the field for any reason.

Props cannot be taken, hidden, buried or otherwise obscured out on the field

Props out on the field can be taken from one side at any time, from any place, by any Player (unless it is marked with side-specific tape)

Props with side-specific tape cannot be taken by the opposing team

If shot you must drop the prop.

Whichever team has the most points at the end of the game is the winner.

Sorry this is an older map, I will work on getting the new one up.
